1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how Qudra Global ("Qudra", "we") collects, uses, and protects personal information from Users of the Platform.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information: Name, email, phone number, password (hashed).
Profile Information: Bio, photo, skills, portfolio, country, languages.
Verification Documents (UAE Freelancers): Emirates ID, passport, freelance permit, residence visa, trade license activity, VAT TRN. These are stored encrypted at rest and access-controlled.
Financial Information: Bank details and IBAN for payouts. Payment processor tokens for receiving payments. We do NOT store full card numbers — those are handled by our payment processors.
Transaction History: Orders, jobs, disputes, messages, reviews.
Device & Usage: IP address, device type, app version, push notification tokens, browser type.
Communications: In-platform messages between Users, support tickets, email correspondence.
3. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the Platform.
- To verify identity and prevent fraud.
- To process payments and payouts.
- To send transactional notifications (OTPs, order updates, dispute notices).
- To send service announcements (you can opt out of marketing emails).
- To comply with legal obligations (Kuwait MOCI, UAE TRA, KYC/AML).
- To enforce these Terms and resolve disputes.
4. Sharing of Information
We share information with:
- Other Users: profile info, message content, and order details — but only between Buyer and Freelancer of the same Order.
- Payment Processors: licensed processors that handle payment + payout (e.g., Tap Payments).
- Government Authorities: when required by law (tax authorities, regulators, court orders).
- Service Providers: infrastructure (Supabase), email (Resend), SMS (Twilio), and similar.
- Successors: in event of merger, acquisition, or sale of business assets.
We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties.
5. International Data Transfers
Qudra operates from Kuwait. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own (including the United States for cloud infrastructure). We use providers that maintain appropriate safeguards.
6. Data Retention
Active accounts: Information retained while account is active.
Closed accounts: Retained for 5 years to comply with tax, audit, and dispute requirements, then deleted.
Verification documents: Retained per UAE/Kuwait regulatory requirements, typically 5-7 years after last use.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your account (subject to retention obligations above).
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time.
- Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for session management and security. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.
9. Children
The Platform is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we discover that a User is under 18, we will close the account.
10. Security
We use industry-standard security measures: encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, role-based access controls, regular audits, and security monitoring. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and account access.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be notified via email and a banner on the Platform. Continued use means acceptance.
